IGET Vape Delivery Times Across Australia
Delivery is the question we get asked most, so here are the actual figures by state rather than a vague promise, plus what the dispatch cutoff means depending on where you are.
The cutoff, in your timezone
Orders confirmed before 3PM AEST on a business day leave the same afternoon. That is 3PM in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and Hobart. In Adelaide it is 2:30PM, in Darwin 1:30PM, and in Perth it is midday.
Confirmed is the word that matters. For bank transfer and PayID the clock starts when the payment lands, not when you place the order, so paying promptly is what gets a parcel out the same day.
Express times by state
Sydney, Canberra, Newcastle and Wollongong are next business day on express. Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, the Gold Coast and Geelong are one to two business days. Perth and Hobart are two to three. Darwin is two to four.
Express is free on orders from $300, which is often less than the cost of ordering twice with standard post.
Standard post times by state
Standard runs two to four business days across New South Wales and the ACT, three to five for Victoria and Queensland, three to six for South Australia, four to seven for Tasmania, five to eight for Western Australia and six to ten for the Northern Territory.
Regional addresses in any state add a day or two beyond the metro figure. Australia Post publishes its own estimates by postcode if you want to check a specific address.
What actually causes delays
The most common cause by a wide margin is a payment that clears late. Bank transfers between different banks can take until the next business day, while PayID and same-bank transfers usually land within minutes. If you need something quickly, PayID is the fastest route.
The second cause is an address problem. A missing unit number or a postcode that does not match the suburb sends parcels on a detour. We no longer block mismatched state and postcode combinations at checkout, so it is worth checking your own details before submitting.
Packaging
Everything goes in a plain satchel. There is no product name, brand or description anywhere on the outside, and the return address does not identify what is inside. Tracking updates show the carrier reference only.
Tracking
A tracking number is emailed on dispatch, and you can track it on the Australia Post site at any time. If it has not moved for 24 hours after you receive it, that is usually a scanning gap rather than a lost parcel, and it normally catches up. If it stays still for more than two business days, contact us and we will chase it.
