IGET Moon 5000 vs IGET Legend 4000 Compared Aus
These two sit either side of the middle of the range and get compared constantly. They are closer in price than the puff numbers suggest, so the decision comes down to charging and draw style rather than headline figures.
The core difference
The IGET Moon 5000 is rechargeable. The IGET Legend 4000 is sealed single use. That single fact drives most of the rest.
Being rechargeable means the Moon uses all of its liquid, because the battery never becomes the limiting factor. On the sealed Legend the battery is sized to just outlast the liquid, which works, but it means the last few hundred puffs come from a battery that is running down.
Runtime in practice
On paper it is 5,000 against 4,000, which sounds like a quarter more. In practice the gap is wider, because the Moon delivers full strength to the end while the Legend tapers. At 400 puffs a day the Moon runs roughly twelve days and the Legend around ten.
Draw and feel
The Legend has the tighter draw of the two and is closer to a cigarette pull, which is why it remains popular with people who have recently switched. The Moon is slightly looser and produces more vapour per puff.
Neither has adjustable airflow, so what you get is what you get. If tuning the draw matters, look at the Bar Pro instead.
Price and running cost
The Moon costs more up front. Per puff the two are close, with the Moon slightly ahead once you account for the fact that it does not waste its final puffs on a fading battery.
If you are buying a single device to try, the Legend is the cheaper experiment. If you already know you like the flavour family, the Moon is the better long term buy.
Which to choose
Choose the Moon if you vape daily, you want consistent power to the last puff, and you do not mind plugging in a cable.
Choose the Legend if you want a tighter cigarette-like draw, you vape occasionally, or you want the simplest possible device with nothing to charge.
A note on availability
The Legend is an older line and stock moves in and out more than the current models. If it is in stock and it is the draw you want, it is worth buying more than one. The Moon is a current line and is more consistently available.
